On 28 May 2025, AdaojiRiver Optimal Communications marked Children’s Day with a targeted outreach and sensitization programme in Oji River Local Government Area, Enugu State, under the theme “Sound Voices, Safe Future.” The initiative engaged 45 students from 11 schools, alongside teachers and community education leaders, to promote child protection, safety, and awareness on Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV).
Through age-appropriate learning sessions, interactive discussions, health education, and recreational activities, children were empowered to understand personal safety, recognize unsafe situations, and speak up with confidence. Teachers were also mobilized to strengthen collective responsibility for safeguarding children.
The outreach increased awareness on child rights and protection, and reaffirmed our commitment to building safe environments where every child’s voice is heard and protected.
